Dr. Abhinay Sharma ,Serving as a Senior Scientists and fellow at The Hebrew University of Jerusalem, Israel. He was earlier served as Post-Doctoral PBC fellow with Braun School of Public Health & Community Medicine, Faculty of Medicine, Hebrew University-Hadassah, Humboldt Postdoctoral Fellow at HZI, Germany, Postdoctoral Research Fellow at the Institute of Biomedical Sciences, University of São Paulo (ICB-USP),São Paulo, Brazil. Received his doctorate from Jawaharlal Nehru University, India and presently working as Senior Scientist with German University Research Programme. He worked on Molecular Serotyping, Invasiveness and Proteomics profiling of Group A Streptococcus. He has specialization and expertise on biodiversity, microbiologist, biotechnologist, animal and plant tissue culture, molecular pathogenesis, vaccinology, genomic and proteomics and he quite interest to work on Research & Development to improve human/plant health and to explore the global biodiversity. To perform social service using scientific tools and techniques. He has more than 15 international SCI indexed Scientific Research Papers till date. He is founding member and Think tank for CEED from the Beginning .

Prof (Dr.) Ashutosh Mohanty, An International Researcher, Professor, Mentor, Policy Adviser with having 21 years of academic and professional experience in 15 countries in the fields of Holistic Disaster Management, Climate Resilience. Marine pollution and Integrated Waste Management, Pandemic Health Management, Emergency Policy & Risk Governance. Presently is serving as Dean-Research and International Affairs, Madhyanchal Professional University, India and Adviser to Asian Development Bank Disaster Risk programme, South Asia. He did his PhD in Urban Environmental Risk Governance under mentorship and Research support from Prof. Michael H. Glantz, PhD. Director, CCB, INSTAAR/University of Colorado, USA and MSc. in Urban Environmental Management at Asian Institute of Technology, Thailand under USAID/RUDO Fellowship, MA & PhD. in Public Administration, Utkal University, India Presently assigned as PI for India for CSIRO-Australia on Global Marine Plastic Pollution Pan-India Study (2022). He also serves for the CCB-INSTAAR/ University of Colorado, USA. He was served as Director of Disaster Management & Climate Change Dept. Shoolini University, India; he led numbers of River Basin programme e.g.; Amudariya Basin (Kyrgyzstan, Tajikistan, Afghanistan), Indus (India, Pakistan and Afghanistan), Ganges and Brahmaputra (India, Bhutan and Bangladesh) etc. He served as visiting faculty for Palacký University Olomouc, Czech Republic as well as Beijing Normal University, Geoscience faculty ,China (2019). Served as International Himalayan DRR & Climate Resilience Export at ICIMOD, Nepal He published more than 35 International SCI/Scopus Indexed Scientific Research paper/ journals and 3 Books and Coordinated & led more than 182 Skill based Modular Trainings and capacity development programmes.

Dr Netrananda Sahu

Dr Netrananda Sahu, is presently working as Assistant Professor, Department of Geography, Delhi School of Economics, University of Delhi, holds Ph.D (MEXT Fellow) and Postdoctoral Degree (JSPS Fellow) from Disaster Prevention Research Institute, Kyoto University, Japan. He also holds a Diploma in Human Security Engineering from Kyoto University. Dr Sahu was an intern at International Research Institute for Climate and Society (IRI), Columbia University, New York. As an Environmental activist he is working to preserve the Wildlife Sanctuaries of Odisha. He has established research collaborations with U.S.A., Canada, Japan, China, Brazil and Indonesia. He has introduced two new courses for the Masters program for CBCS Module at University of Delhi. He has specialized on Climate Variability/climate change/Seasonal Forecast/Extreme Events and Disaster Risk Reduction. Dr Sahu has numerous high impact factor research publications of international repute.



Dr Anupama Dubey Mohanty

Dr Anupama Dubey Mohanty is presently Assistant Professor at Institute of Public Enterprise. She is a post graduate from Allahabad University and holds M. Phil and PhD in the area of Water Conservation and Management from Delhi School of Economics, Delhi University. She has experience of more than ten years in teaching, research and training. She has been a faculty of Geography at the under graduate colleges of Delhi University and also earned experience in research domain as a Senior Research Analyst at National Council of Educational Research and Training (NCERT, Delhi) on (Project of Ministry of Human Resource Development). She has a wide experience of heading and contributing to various research and consultancy projects funded by Indian Council of Social Science Research (ICSSR, India), Union Grant Commission (UGC), Indian Institute of Management, Bangalore (IIMB), National Bank for Agriculture and Rural Development, (NABARD, India), International Developmental Research Centre (IDRC, Canada), World Health Organisation and University of North Carolina (USA). She has authored two books with Academic foundation, Delhi and Edited and published two books with Springer, Publications (Honkong) and Academic foundation, New Delhi, respectively. She has organized and chaired various International and National conferences and training workshops.Her area of specialization includes: Applied Geomorphology, Climate Change, Environmental Geography, Resource Management, Water conservation and Governance, Sustainable Development, Research Methodology and Rural Development.


Dr. Panda presently working as an Associate Professor and Head, Deptt. Of Veterinary Public Health, College of Veterinary Science and Animal Husbandry, CSK Himachal Pradesh Agricultural University, Palampur- (HP) India. He did his M.V.P.H, All India Institute of Hygiene, (Master in Vet.& Public Health, Calcutta University, Pub. Hath.) Calcutta, West Bengal, India, PhD in V.P.H & ECOVS, CCS Haryana ,(Vet. Pub. Health. &Agricultural University, Hisar, Haryana, India. Teaching Post Graduates (M.V.Sc.)/ & A.H.) Both Veterinary Public Health and Epidemiology since 1992 and PhD since 2002. Already number of Master’s thesis supervised under his guidance and awarded. (One among them is from Afghanistan.) . Organized International Symposium and 5th Annual Conference of Indian Association of Veterinary Public Health Specialists on "New Strategies for prevention and control of Emerging and Remerging Zoonoses : an Integrated Veterinary and Medical Approach" in the department from 12th -14th October 2006,at Palampur-176 062 (HP), India. Trained around 2000 farmers/ Veterinarians/Agriculture officers/Tech staff/ SSB Trainees of the State/Country for clean milk/meat production, safe drinking water and transmission of zoonotic diseases and its prevention and control in collaboration with the Directorate of Extension Education CSK-HPKV, Palampur. Nineteen research papers have been published in different national journals, Four papers have been presented in international symposiums. Six International and Fourteen National Training/ Symposia attended.

Dr. Pranabananda Rath is at present involved in various Consultancy Projects & a Visiting Faculty in the area of International Business, Finance & Accounts in various Universities & B-Schools in India. He has obtained his M.Com & LLB from Utkal University & also did his MBA in Finance. He has completed his Ph.D. in the area of Financial Derivatives from Sambalpur University, Odisha. He was also associated with IMM, New Delhi, AKGIM, Ghaziabad, IGNOU & KIIT University etc. He has a profound academic experience of around 20 years in teaching, research & consultancy. He is actively involved in guiding students in completing their research work & contributing to various publications of the institute like backgrounders, Profiles of various countries & their foreign trade. He has published various research papers in National & International Conferences & Journals. His areas of interest includes Financial Management, Financial Inclusion, International financial management, Foreign exchange market, Financial Services, International Business Strategy, Start-up India, Make in India & Economic Environment of Business.




Dr. Prabuddh Kumar Mishra

Dr. Prabuddh Kumar Mishra has done MA, M. Phil and Doctorate in Geography from Delhi School of Economics, University of Delhi. He is serving as an Assistant Professor in Department of Geography Shivaji College, University of Delhi. Previously, he has also worked as an Assistant Professor, Regional Institute of Education, Bhopal, NCERT, New Delhi and Fellow at NCERT, New Delhi. Prabuddh does research in Natural Resource Management, Watershed Management, Mountain studies, and Livelihood related issues. He was Awarded, Jawaharlal Nehru Fellowship for Doctoral Studies by Jawaharlal Nehru Memorial Fund, Teen Murti Foundation, New Delhi. His top publications have been in journals national and international repute including research papers, chapters in scientific journals, books and conference proceedings. He has been engaged in a variety of environmental education programmes for schools and colleges. With more than ten years of experience in teaching and research with a multi-disciplinary background, Dr. Mishra is adept to manage large development projects within timeframe individually, or in association of a team as per “as is where is” basis. His writing skill and data analysis (both quantitative and qualitative) has won accolades from people all around world and is reflected in his projects and academic reproductions. He is also serving as a Member of Editorial Board & Review Committee of many International Journals. He is Leading Delhi CEED Secretariat office and Research Programmes.

Mr Bikram Dhal; A Seasoned Industry Leader, Serial Entrepreneur, Media manager, Mining Logistics Expert, Civil Construction Consultant, Risk Analyst, Social Networker and Activist with a difference. An acclaimed and Proven senior management experience in a professional career spanning 30+ years both International and National interdisciplinary fields of Programme and Logistic Management, Monitoring and Evaluation focussed on Natural Resource Management. He is also Adventurous entrepreneur in the fields of Mining and Construction. Looking after the constructions of runways, terminals, perimeter roads, ATC towers and Aerobridges. While ensuring successful projects for the Airport authority of India, He is committed for socio-economic development helping and grooming women and weaker sections through aggro based MSME and social entrepreneurship. He is now Leading CEED Programme Development, implementation, Corporate affairs, Collaboration and Funding and overall strategy Development as joint Director. His main focus is to Contribute for Coastal India as Green and Clean through one India green energy mission.




Mr Swapnabrata Dash

Mr Swapnabrata Dash Chartered Accountants by profession and last 20 year associated with Tax Management regime different portfolios. He is Fellow member of Institute of Chartered Accountants of India (FCA); He did his Bachelor of Economics (Honours) from Utkal University, Bhubaneswar, Odisha Master from IGNOU, Journalism and Mass Communication from OSOU. He has NCFM Certifications in capital Market, Derivative market and Mutual Fund Modules, Investment advisory. Presently working Capital funding through preparation of AFSs, FFS, short term projections and Liasioning with Banks; his has specialization in Bank statutory audits, Audit of Companies, Income Tax Audit and GST Audit, Stock Audit, Credit Audit, Due- Dilligence Audit; Preparation of annual Reports for companies after finalization of accounts under Indian GAAP; Internal and statutory audit of trading, manufacturing, financial services and real estate companies (Limited disclosure under ICAI regulations; Complying with income tax, GST, sales tax, VAT, Excise and Service tax requirements of the above category of companies. He also lead Professional training to CA, CWA, CS and MBAs and students thereof And also to executives including officials of commercial tax department, Government of Odisha (Promoter of SPS- Bhubaneswar- the number one Institute in Odisha).




Dr Ashutosh Kumar

Dr Ashutosh Kumar received his doctorate from the Department of Geology, Institute of Science, Banaras Hindu University, Varanasi, India (2011-18) related to research area is Tectonometamorphic Evolution and Magmatism in parts of the Almora Nappe, Kumaun Lesser Himalaya and presently working as Assistant Professor in Department of Geology, Indira Gandhi National Tribal University, Amarkantak, M. P., India. He has worked for few years in the Board of Research in Nuclear Sciences (BRNS) Project at the BHU (2015-20) on the topic “Study of metamorphics and granites of Almora Nappe, Kumaun Lesser Himalaya, for possible uranium mineralization”. He has a wide range of experience in the academic and research area in Himalayan Geology related to Tectonometamorphic and Magmatic Evolution and also working on Geochemistry of Groundwater. During research work a lot of collaborative work with national and international such as Department of Earth Science, IIT Bombay, India, Department of Earth Sciences, IIT Roorkee, India, Wadia Institute of Himalayan Geology (WIHG), Dehradun, India and University of Western Australia. He has worked on a DST project (Project Research Fellow) in the Department of Civil Engineering, IIT BHU, Varanasi, India (2010-11). Also did Masters (MSc.) in Geology, Institute of Science, Banaras Hindu University, Varanasi, India (2007-9). He has published more than 8 national and international research articles and co-authored one book chapter in the field of Geology of Himalaya and Geochemistry of Groundwater.




Dr. Poonam Sharma

Dr. Poonam Sharma is an associate professor in Geography and Director, Centre for Disaster Management Studies, Shaheed Bhagat Singh College, University of Delhi. She has an experience of more than two decades of teaching and research. Her research interests includes urban geography, urban and regional planning, smart city, developmental studies, environmental studies, statistical methods in geography, remote sensing and GIS. She has two books to her credit which includes one authored book titled Structure and Growth of Mega Cities: An Inter-Industry Analysis published by Concept Publishers and Sustainable Smart Cities: Challenges and Future perspectives as first editor published by Springer. She has also been involved as subject expert for preparation of geography dictionary under Commission for Scientific and Technical Terminology, Ministry of Human Resource Development, Government of India. She has completed Research Program jointly with Institute for Studies in Industrial Development on “Urbanization and Human Capital Development in Assam” sponsored by Indian Council of Social Science Research, Ministry of Human Resource Development, Government of India, Co- Project Director. She has been awarded with “Meritorious Teacher Award 2017-18” by Department of Higher Education, Government of Delhi.



Dr. Amarnath Giriraj, received his doctorate from National Remote Sensing Centre, ISRO, India and presently working at the International Water Management Institute (IWMI),Sri Lanka. Prior to IWMI he has working for few years at the International Centre for Integrated Mountain Development (ICIMOD), Nepal. He has wide range of international experience on the academic and research arena in Environmental, Natural Resources and Disaster Management using remote sensing and GIS. Also did Masters (MSc.) in Geoinformatics from the Indian Institute of Tropical Ecology, Sikkim Manipal University, India in 2008. Since last ten years he has professionally associated in the field of natural resource monitoring and management using remote sensing datasets for the application of land cover mapping, biodiversity monitoring, Cryosphere and rapid mapping on disaster emergency situation. He did his post-doc in French Institute of Pondicherry (2006) on forest fires monitoring in Western Ghats. Further in 2007-2008 he worked as Research Associate at University of Bayreuth, Germany on fire modeling and tropical forest fragmentation. He has published more than 30 national and international research articles and co-authored 3 books in the field of Geoinformatics.

Dr. Kolachina Srinivas a corporate professional turned academician and researcher, by choice, has a comprehensive career experience of about 18 years. Besides being a double post graduate, he has a Doctoral degree in HRM, to his credit. His persistent passion towards academics and research facilitated him with 20 research publications in peer reviewed Journals indexed in various eminent databases including ABDC, Scopus and Web of Science. He is acting as an editorial board member and reviewer for various journals including Elsevier and Emerald publishing. His current affiliation is with KL University, as an Associate Professor for HRM and Banking, in KL Business School. He has a rich experience of 10 years in private banking sector. He was awarded as Best Professor in Human Resource Management by ICBM-AMP Academic Excellence Awards, 2018 and Outstanding Faculty Mentor by Bestow Edutrex International Awards, 2020. His passion and dedication towards being a delivery expert and an effective mentor earned him lot of appreciations from his students and colleagues. Teaching has always been his passion where he enjoys being with students always and proudly says “My Students are my strength”.


Dr. Parvani Sharma

Dr. Parvani Sharma presently working as Assistant Professor in School of Agriculture, Shoolini University (Himachal Pradesh, Solan). She did specialization in Agriculture Extension & Communication. Before serving Shoolini University worked as Senior Research Fellow in SKUAST-Jammu and worked as Senior Executive (Organic Farming) in Himalayan Bio-Organic Foods Private Limited. She has lead many training programme related to Agri Entrepreneurship, Climate Change, Highland agriculture, Organic Farming and Market linkage, Smart Agriculture, Agriculture Disaster and Water Shed Management in Himalayan region.




Ms Ipsita Dash

Ms Ipsita Dash is an architect by education and sustainability expert by profession. She is currently working on a climate change project to develop coastal resilience. Having a work experience of close to 5 years, her work has been around technical and management aspects in areas of sustainable infrastructure, water risk mitigation, biodiversity, waste management and carbon emissions. She has worked in both B2B and B2C sectors. She seeks for convergence in various facets of sustainability- ranging in strategies from policy governance to engineering as she believes only through this holistic approach can we build roadmaps for a sustainable future. Ms. Dash has completed her bachelors in architecture from C.E.T, Bhubaneswar with the University gold medal and has done her masters in sustainable environmental design from Architectural Association, London, for which she was awarded the J.N Tata Endowment scholarship. During her masters, she produced a technical research thesis on ‘Disaster resistant low cost housing for coastal Odisha’ where her area of focus was the built environment and disaster mitigation strategies for coastal housing. She believes to be resourceful to CEED in the areas of Environmental management and Urban Development. She has also written many articles for various e papers and journals.




Dr. Sujit Kumar Pruseth

Dr. Sujit Kumar Pruseth, presently working as Asst. Professor in Indian Institute of Public Administration, New Delhi India. Before Joining IIPA, he was a faculty of National Law University Bangalore. He did his MA, M.Phil and PhD from Centre for Political Studies on International Relation from Jawaharlal Nehru University, New Delhi. . He did number of academic research and publication on cross cutting humanitarian and developmental issues. His areas of specializations are urban affair public administration, public policy, development issues, governance issues, gender and political economy. He is Policy advisor on Hand-holding' for Urban Development Ministry, Government of India. He is a Member of Board of Studies, School of Public policy, Rajiv Gandhi University, Tamil Nadu, India.



Shashank Mishra

Shashank Mishra is currently serving as Programme Specialist with UN-Habitat Myanmar. He is responsible for managing climate change and disaster risk reduction portfolio of UN-Habitat in Myanmar. Shashank graduated in Civil Engineering from Politecnico di Milano, Milan, Italy and completed under graduation in Civil Engineering from National Institute of technology, Warangal. He has also received advanced certification in Disaster Risk Reduction (DRR) & Climate Change Adaptation (CCA) from Indian Institute of Human Settlements (IIHS) India and Ecole Polytechnique Federale de Lausanne (EPFL), Switzerland. Shashank brings more than 9 years of international experience in the field of disaster and climate risk management specially working in south Asia and south East Asia. In the past, he worked in various capacities with institutes/organizations such as National Disaster Management Authority (NDMA), Govt. of India, UNISDR Geneva, Rockefeller foundation's Asian Cities Climate Research Network (ACCCRN) program in India and Defense Research and Development Organization (DRDO), Ministry of Defense, Govt. of India. His expertise lies in disaster and climate vulnerability and risk assessment, urban resilience, capacity building, risk index and indicators development, climate change adaptation and post-disaster reconnaissance study. He has also served as a resource person to various organizations such as UNDP, NDMA, UN-SPIDER etc. in different capacity building programs and advisory missions..




Mr. Goutam Aryabhusan

Mr. Goutam Aryabhusan presently working with UNICEF as a State DRR Coordinator based at Bhubaneswar. His role in the present position is to coordinate with different actors in the field of disaster management including government departments and leading national and international NGOs. He has more than 18 years of experience in the field of disaster management with specialization in training and capacity building at various levels from grass roots to top level policy makers. He has also ardently written on disaster and climate change issues & some of my articles have been published in leading national dailies. He did his masters in Disaster Management and Business Administration along with a bachelor’s degree in Law. I have studied in some of the leading institutes of the country such as Tata Institute of Social Sciences, Mumbai, Utkal University, Vani Vihar, Bhubaneswar and Sikkim Manipal University, Gangtok. He nurtures a passion for working towards innovative ways of disaster management and climate change. He led numbers of international skill based DRR Training programme, module development, resource mapping and capacity development programme. Finally and presented papers in DRR and climate change issues national and international conferences, workshops, seminars and webinars etc.




Dr. Itinderpal Singh Bali

Dr. Itinderpal Singh Bali from Kashmir: senior humanitarian medical professional, who did his medical degree from Bangalore University, India. Presently working NHPC (National Hydroelectric Corporation) Hospital Gingle since April - 2004. On the fateful event of Kashmir Earthquake in Oct 2005, he conducted active medical response (medical treatment and medicine distribution) and other necessary supports at Uri and Tangdar under the banner of NGO ABRS (Akhil Bharitiya Rachnatik Samaj) run and managed by Ms. Nirmala Deshpande (Sitting Member of Parliament). Have facilitated training on CBDRR with Aga Khan Development Network as Resource person on “First Aid”. RedR India trainings were facilitated on 9 different sites of Jammu and Kashmir Division including Leh -Ladakh.




Dr. Devesh Sharma

Dr. Devesh Sharma is working as Assistant Professor in Department of Environmental Science at Central University of Rajasthan (CURAJ), Rajasthan, India. He obtained his Doctor of Engineering Degree in Integrated Water Resources Management from the Asian Institute of Technology, Bangkok in 2007. Before joining CURAJ, he worked as Assistant Professor at TERI University, New Delhi and adjunct professional at TERI for more than two and half years. He also worked as consultant (Water Resources) at International Water Management Institute, New Delhi, in CPWF-Basin Focal Project for Indus-Gangetic Basin. His research interests include integrated water resources management, climate change and water resources, water resources systems. He has also been involved in various sponsored and consultancy projects related to various issues in water and agriculture sectors such as soil and water conservation, integrated water resources management, groundwater management, water productivity and livelihood enhancement, climate change and water resources. He has published his research work in various international and national Journals.



Shaji Mathew

Shaji Mathew, Kothamangalam, Ernakulam-Dist, Kerala. Served in Community Leader , social worker and Entrepreneur for Agro based and environmental products for the state. Last 20 years he is associated number of Humanitarian work in South Indian states specifically Kerala, Tamilnadu, Telangana, Andhra Pradesh and Karnataka . He is promoting literacy and skill education among poor and fisherman communities for sustainable livelihood development . He is very creative and promoting innovative technology for betterment of peoples life specially in Agriculture and vehicular pollution . He is awarded for his innovative technology and idea from government . He is also part of Church Based Education and Social reform programme in India . Now He is committed to serve for socio economic development of Farmers and common deprived people on the "Agro Business, promoting Bio-degradable products replacing plastic waste, Organic Farming, Renewable energy, waste Management, Rain water Harvesting, Watershed Management etc.



Dr Lobzang Stanzen

Dr Lobzang Stanzen from Ladakh from a Mountain communities dedicated Agriculture scientist as well as promoter of Smart Agriculture and Watershed Management/ Water Conservation in Himalayan mountain Region. With a passion for promoting value-based Agriculture in High land Himalaya and livelihood provision for mountain communities. Did Ph.D. from SKUAST-Jammu (Sher-e-Kashmir University of Agricultural Sciences and Technology of Jammu (SKUAST-Jammu), before joining Shoolini University worked with FASAL project in Agrometeorology Department SKUAST-Jammu as a Senior Research Fellow (SRF). He is presently serving as Assistant Professor Agronomy in School of Agriculture, Shoolini University, Solan. He has more than twenty research papers in national and international journals in his credit, two books, and two book chapters in various edited books. Being members of Ladakh Agriculture Societies as well as life member of three national scientific societies.



Dr. Ajoy Das

Dr. Ajoy Das is currently working as Cartographer in Department of Geography, School of Sciences, Gujarat University, Ahmedabad, Gujarat, India since December 2013. He had completed his PhD in Geography (Wetland Ecological Diversity of Kachchh district, Gujarat) from Gujarat University, India after his MTech in GIS (Specialization:Biodiversity Conservation and Management) from NIIT University,India and PG Diploma in Geoinformatics (Specialization:Water Resources Conservation and Management), MA in Geography (Specialization: Agricultural Geography) from CSJM University, Kanpur, India and BA in Geography Hons.(Specialization: Soil Science) from The University of Burdwan, West Bengal, India . He had published many research articles, papers on National and International platform and received awards and prizes. He had attended many training programs on Hydrological Modelling, GNSS, Microwave Remote Sensing at National and International level both and received scholarship/ fellowship. He has expertise on research and teaching GIS, Remote Sensing, Climate Change, Photogrammetry, Geovisualization, and Advanced Field Techniques from the last nine years. His working areas are natural resources conservation and management, biodiversity conservation, terrain analysis, Disaster management and risk assessment and spatio-temporal modelling addresses critical and contemporary issues. He is always interested in field-based research with various geophysical instruments.




Dr. Ibajanai Kurbah

Dr. Ibajanai Kurbah is a young Soil Scientists from Meghalaya and dedicated for promotion of Sustainable mountain agriculture in Northeast Himalaya. Presently working as a scientist (Soil Science) at Krishi Vigyan Kendra, Shimla (Rohru), Dr YSP University of Horticulture and Forestry (HP). She had done her M.Sc. and Ph.D. in Soil Science from CSK Himachal Pradesh Agricultural University, HP (India). Before joining KVK, Shimla (Rohru), she had experience in teaching courses of Soil sciences at Shoolini University (Solan) and College of Horticulture and Forestry (Neri, Hamirpur), Dr YSP University of Horticulture and Forestry. She worked on soil fertility and plant nutrition, soil testing and soil nutrient management. She has led many training programmes to famers and she is interested to work on soil health management, soil quality and smart agriculture under changing climate, mountain agriculture and sustainable agriculture.



Pritam Ghosh

Pritam Ghosh is a Geographer by Profession. He has a passion for social research and development work and associated with numbers of Health, NRM research which contribute for National Development. He is a dedicated Young researcher and pursuing his Ph. D. on Child Nutrition and Health from the Department of Geography, University of Calcutta. He received his Graduate degree in Geography from Asutosh College & Post Graduate degree from the University of Calcutta. He has gathered experience as a guest lecturer in the Post Graduated Department of Geography, Vidyasagar College, Vidyasagar University distance education center, Under Graduate department of Geography in Khudiram Bose Central College and Ramsaday College. He also presented papers in various national, international seminars & conferences. He has eight research papers and articles in both national and international journals in his credit and one book chapter of an edited book. He has conducted numbers of Training and Capacity Development programme in West Bengal mainly focused on GIS and RS application for Disaster Risk Reduction and NRM for attain MDG and SDG goals .




Dr. Skylab Sahu

Dr. Skylab Sahu is currently working as Assistant Professor in Miranda House, University of Delhi. Before joining Miranda House, she taught M.A students in Department of Political Science, University of Delhi. She has more than eleven years of experience in research and teaching. She has completed her MA and M.Phil from Utkal University and Ph.D from Institute for Social and Economic Change (ISEC), Bangalore. Her specialization and publication are around cross cutting areas of interest covering Gender, Health, Development, Issues of Governance, Public Policy, and Indian Politics. She has published her research articles in edited books and several international and national refereed journals such as Studies in Indian Politics, Sociological Bulletin, Indian Journal of Social and Economic Development, International Journal of Social and Economic Research, Journal of Health Management, Indian Journal of Political Science, Indian Journal of Social Work, etc. She has also written two books titled "Gender, Sexuality, and HIV/AIDS: Exploring Politics of Women's Health in India", published by Sage. Her second book titled “Gender, Violence and Governmentality: Legal and Policy Initiatives in India” is recently published by Routledge. She also the project director of the ongoing IMPRESS/ICSSR project titled Understanding the Effectiveness of the Role of the State in Addressing the Decreasing Child Sex Ratio in the State of Haryana. She is actively involved in guiding P.hD and other students in completing their research work & contributing to the world of knowledge through publications.




Sushree Sangita Dash

Sushree Sangita Dash presently working as PhD . Research scholar at Indian Institute of Technology, Kharagpur. She did her M.Tech in Soil and Water Conservation Engineering and B.Tech in Agricultural Engineering from Odisha University of Agriculture and Technology, Bhubaneswar, India. She is also the Gold medalist of her M.Tech program. She is working on effects of climate extremes on agricultural yield. Besides, she has been involved in projects and training with reputed Indian Institutes working on climate interventions and how smart technologies can be a state-of-art in this endeavor. She has completed her training at Indian Institute of Soil and Water Conservation, Agra and Indian Institute of Water Management, Bhubaneswar. Her research interest lies in climate change, disaster management, water resources management, groundwater hydrology and natural resource management. She is skilled in C++, JAVA, Python, AutoCAD, Google Earth Engine, machine learning, remote sensing and GIS. She is Technical Resource person, Researcher and Programme support for CEED Team.




Dr. Mantosh Kumar Satapathy

Dr. Mantosh Kumar Satapathy served as an International research fellow from India based in Taiwan committed for Integrated Scientific development of India especially in Odisha. Having wide range of experience in biomedical research and sound experience on Nano biotechnology. He has a Bachelor’s Degree in Pharmacy, Master’s Degree in Industrial Biotechnology, and a Ph.D. degree in Biomedical Materials and Tissue Engineering from Taipei Medical University, Taipei–Taiwan with numerous years of teaching and hands-on experience on Nano composite fabrication for waste water treatment, creating and implementing biomedical materials, and their applications in clinics to troubleshoot and solve problems in a timely and accurate manner, he is committed to contribute for the human society through my research achievement. He has 3 years of teaching experience in India in a reputed University (NIET, NIMS University, Jaipur, India) the University. He has also have Industrial experience in Industry (Dr. Saini's Lab, Kolkata, India) after my graduation in Pharmacy (BPUT, Odisha, India), Laboratory experience as Microbiologists/Cytopathologist (Clinilab, Dhanbad, India) and Molecular Biologist (BCIL, Department of Biotechnology, India) for several years after M. Tech in Industrial Biotechnology from Bharath University, India. He could be a link between Research and academia between Taiwan. Since he has been involved in several Indian and Taiwan Government projects in my academic career, where I have learned to identify and accurately solving the problem within the given limited time. He has specialization in Nano biotechnology for waste water treatment, Nano drug delivery, stem cell technology, plasma technology, biomaterial fabrication for orthopaedics and tissue engineering applications which are the excellent asset to be used for future human welfare through national and international project collaborations.




Dr. S. Tufailur Rehman

Dr. S. Tufailur Rehman, working as Programme Coordinator – Disaster Management and Rural Development in Odisha State Open University (OSOU), Sambalpur, Odisha. Presently, assigned as Principal Investigator for Web Based Training (WBT) Project of National Disaster Management Authority (NDMA),New Delhi in collaboration with Odisha State Open University (OSOU), Sambalpur aiming at the training and capacity building in disaster management through web based training modules and courses for the educationists and practitioners.He has Ph.D in Applied Geography from Ravenshaw University, Cuttack (Odisha) and PG Diploma in Remote Sensing & GIS from Sambalpur University, Odisha. He has represented OSOU at the National Level Workshop of National Assessment and Accreditation Council (NAAC) on the briefing of Open and Distance Learning (ODL) manual with specific reference to “Learning Support Centres of the Universities” held on 10th June 2019 organized by NAAC Office, Bengaluru. He has served in World Bank Projects, Dept of Science & Technology, Govt. of Odisha and also has worked as Faculty in different Govt. Autonomous Colleges and Universities.. Has also served as Team Leader in the preparation of Integrated Tribal Development Agency (ITDA) Action Plan in collaboration with Planning Commission of India, New Delhi and Ministry of Tribal Affairs, Govt. of India, New Delhi. Selected as State Level Trainer in Rural Development by Govt. of Odisha with the support of UNDP and DFID. Trained by National Institute of Rural Development (NIRD),Hyderabad (AP) and Banker’s Institute of Rural Development (BIRD),Lucknow (UP) and received Advance Training Course on Application of Geomatics in Natural Resource Appraisal and Management (sponsored by Dept. of Sc. &Technology, Govt. of India).Awarded with Doctoral Fellowship from University Grants Commission (UGC),New Delhi, Central Institute of Indian Languages (CIIL),Mysore, Karnataka (under Ministry of HRD, Govt. of India) and Indian Council of Social Science Research (ICSSR),New Delhi. He has gained his experience from taking start-ups to successful enterprises, ensuring smooth implementations of major mergers/acquisitions, building global research capabilities and managing end to end operations alongside P&L accountability for large organizations, both Govt and private. He holds a Bachelor’s degree in Engineering from Utkal University of India, a Master’s degree in Engineering from Wollongong University in Australia and an Executive MBA from RMIT School of Business and Law, Australia. Some of the 17 industry verticals he has worked in include, Higher Education, Govt, ICT MNCs, Insurance and Banking, Energy and Utility, FMCG, large global NGOs, Healthcare and Media. He has primarily worked in APAC, Middle East, Africa and the European countries.




Dr Ramovatar Meena

Dr Ramovatar Meena currently working as Assistant Professor at School of Environmental Sciences, Jawaharlal Nehru University, New Delhi and teach students at MSc as well as MPhil/PhD level. He has long career of scientific research over more than 15 years of experience. His research focused on health risk assessment of environmental pollutants like air pollutants, microplastics, electromagnetic radiations, nanoparticles and waste water remediation using nanomaterials. Over the period he has have published more than 65 research publications in high impact SCI journals like Scientific Reports, Nanoscale, Cancer Research, Apoptosis, Bioresource Technology, Biomaterials Advances, Oxidative Medicine and Cellular Longevity, Journal of Applied Toxicology, Plos One, Biomedicine & Pharmacotherapy, Tumour Biology etc, and more than 50 presentation in national and international conferences, symposia and training workshops. He has delivered more than 20 invited talks on various occasions of training programs, workshops, conferences and laboratory tutorials. He has guided about 5 Ph.D. and 10 master students for their dissertation work. He has successfully completed 2 research projects as principal investigators and many more are going on presently. He has expertise in various fields such as Health Science, toxicology, Environmental Nanotechnology, Molecular biology, plant biology and microbiology.
